Food & Wine Festival "Special Events"

Post by WishUponaStar » Sep Wed 10, 2008 6:58 pm

I was wondering if anyone is attending any of the reserved special events during the Food & Wine Festival this year?

We will be enjoying the "Sweet Sundays" event on Oct 12th which features a famous pastry chef teaching a seminar where you get to make and sample desserts along with a special champagne brunch.

Anyone else have anything special booked?

I looked over what was offered. Some of it looks really neat (if really expensive, but hey, it's Disney), but as this is our first F&W adventure and we're only there for a few days, I think we're gonna pass on the 'extras' this time. I'll be interested to hear how your seminar goes, though. Sounds fun!

I am only going for one day, so I'm trying to soak in as much as I can. No extras this trip.

One of the specials last year was an event inside the old Milleneium Building where they had a little taste of every country all inside the building which made it easy for the guests to taste everything without walking around the World. However, it seemed like it was a lot of money. I remember seeing all of them gather in the area to get their wristbands for the event...then afterwards, I had to clean up after them :p

I wonder if their doing something like that this year.

Does anyone know where I can get a list of the countries that will be at Food & Wine this year?
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

Rain upon that planet Earth. And they rain ... and rain ... and rain. The deluge.

All Ears has a list up. I'm not sure if it's complete, though.
