Shnemo,
Here's a park map for during the construction.
You can see the bridge and The Enchanted Oak and Flying Unicorn are completely wiped off.

Ok before the Hard Rock park pics there was one other thing I forgt to mention...

DISASTER AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS IS AWESOME!
The Christopher Walken hologram is the first effect in a long time that had me wondering "How do they do that?". The way the real life person and the hologram interact with each other and the environment is seamles. Then after that, they did a great job refreshing Earthquake. There's lots more guest interaction and an engaging (and humorous) storyline. Don't miss this! It was probably the biggest surprise of my trip and easily my new favorite attraction. It almost gave me a bit of hope that the original MGM concept of "showing how movies were made", could have worked.

Ok Hard Rock Park Pics...

There was also this sick playground where it was two levels of all sorts of air-powered cannons and other contraptions and billions of foam balls. I spent a good hour in there. It was like a childhood dream come true! :D

The rides were ok. The shows were phenomenal. The atmosphere kept me smiling the entire time.

That's pretty weird. Looks like it's going to screw up the whole map in my head when it's finished. If they're consistent, they're going to route all traffic through Pottermania, which looks like it's going to involve zigging and zagging. I wonder if they'll put in a bypass. Maybe they have a plan for multiple 3-island transitions. Thanks for the scan.

By the way, I agree that the Christopher Walken effect is awesome at Disaster, although I'm not as much of a fan of the show as you are. I felt bummed that they had such a great actor, a supercool effect, and then didn't do much with the writing. Nonetheless, it is a significant improvement and the very last gag in the last second of the attraction is undeniably hilarious.

I usually spend a lot of time in the Curious George playground at Universal. The theming is a little flat, but the water gags and air cannons are so much fun (and some of them so devious) that it's just irresistible.

Also that Neil Young Statue of Liberty is completely badass. I want one in my front yard. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, I didn't know that refurbished Earthquake. That was one of Universal favorites and I am glad to hear it got better!
