I don't believe so (I haven't heard of any peak season deals/discounts). prices for rooms are the highest rates BECAUSE it's peak season. They know that people are going to flock to the parks during those times regardless, so they jack up the prices as high as they can...

Well, actually there have been nice discounts during peak season (typically late winter/early spring to capture the Spring Break market) in years past, but not during holiday (Christmas) season.

if you military or work for DOD you can try to make reservations at Shades of green. When SOG books up, they will try to book you in a WDW resort at rates generally less than the nl rates.
