I have to say both!!! I have never been to Disneyland but I grew up going to Disney World. I have many memories from my childhood and they have carried over into my adult years. My parents took my husband and myself to celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary the year before we were married and we might as well have been kids as much as we enjoyed it. The next year we went back on our honeymoon which was a wonderful trip (Disney is a great place to go for a honeymoon, they all seemed to know! We even got selected to be in a parade!) We now take our children. My 7 year old has been 4 times (5 this fall) and my 4 year old has been twice (3 times this fall). My oldest daughter and I really bonded on our last trip (she was 5) because it was a time that we could both be on the same level and cut loose and have fun. So I think no matter what age you are for your first trip you can't help but become a child while you are there.

Also, I forgot to add, that I have really enjoyed seeing everything through my children's eyes. So it is almost like going through my own childhood again in a way! :mickey:

I enjoyed going as a kid, but I enjoy now going more ans an adult with my own kids. For one, I can choose what to do. The other is that I can experience childhood again through my son.

I went when I was 12 and don't really remember much of it. I went again at 27, and again at 28, for my honeymoon. The honeymoon trip was the most memorable because the cast memember all went out of their way to make us feel special. Most of it was just little things like an autographed paper signed by Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy, but they also gave us a free pin when we picked up our merchandise at MGM one day, and we did get to ride quite a few rides first because of our Just Married Pins we wore. All in all a very memorable trip for me.

Although I voted for adult, I think there isn't a correct answer. I have just as much fun going to Disneyland today, as I did when I went as a young child. I think thats why Disneyland is soo popular and lasting with everyone, because the magic that you experience the first time, whether as a child or as an adult, lasts with you for a lifetime. Then you always come back to find that magic is always there waiting for you, and you can get the chance to feel as young as you did the first time you time came, which the true magic of Disneyland I think.

I voted kid, just because you can build up great memories of your childhood and then going back to Disney can really bring them back. But now as an adult there are things that I really enjoy about Disney that I did not as a child, so I think both ages can have a lot of fun at Disney, just the type of fun changes.

I didnt vote because I first went to Disney World when I was 35. I was so awed by it at that age I cant imagine what my reaction would have been as a kid. I do know that being older I appreciated the subtle details a lot more.
