This sounds like it might be worth trying. I went to MVMCP last year and was quite disappointed. Of course, the reason was the awful (cold and rainy) weather. Nothing Disney could have done anything about. I might try this one at MGM though. It could be a lot of fun and hopefully the weather won't be too bad.

As far as I know there isn't a "Halloween" party at MGM this year.

I think you are confusing two things-

Saturday Oct 27th the are doing a 13k evening roadrace/run, ending at the HWToT. With a party from 9:30pm till 1:00am.

Universal Studios has "Horror Nights" which is a more teen/young adult party. Which as the name suggests is much more scary. You can search YouTube/Google Videos for videos of previous nights.

^I read something very similar to this in the Unofficial guide for 2007. I'll be interested to hear more details.

there isn't a party scheduled for Mgm-Disney studios this October. My guess is it was considered but nothing happened for this year. I can't see them announcing it at this late date. Generally the offical events calendar at dismeyworld.com is correct.

If they do anything I doubt it will be a hard ticket event.

Yes, that was my understanding, as well. This has been rumored for quite a while, and then I heard that they had decided not to do it. It was supposed to be a hard-ticket adult-themed Halloween alternative to MNSSHP. But, there is no way they are going to officially announce it 2 months before it would take place.

^Oooh! I went to Sleepy Hollow Cemetary recently and would love to see a picture of that one since I can't be there in real life.

I my experience it it really tough to get a good picture of the headless horse man for the simple fact that he rides by so fast and there is usually someone pushing at your back to see him as he goes by.

Plus they reduce the lighting, and tell you no flashes. Rumor has it, the horse is trained to follow a route and the CM can't see out of the costume.
