How good the DDP depends on how you eat.

First off you get 3 credits (1 table service, 1 counter service, and 1 snack) per day of your stay, you are free to use the credits at anytime durning the stay so the first day you can use 2 TS credits, and skip a TS one other day. A lot of the good TS places are "signature" so they cost 2 TS credits.

Second you have to book it for your WHOLE reservation! So if you are there for 7 days you have to book 7 days of DDP (so if you come in late the first day or leave early the last day, you need to "use" those credits soemwhere else). You also have to book it for EVERYONE in your room. Children less than 12 (I think double check that) get adult credits. Adults can't use children credits.

My wife and I have done the math and it just doesn't work out for us

My wife and I are going to purchase 2 next time we take our girls that way we can just share the excess that comes from having the DDP yet not waste any unessary meal plans on chicken fingers. laugh nothing funnier than watching your daughter pick mac n cheese for $7 at a restaurant that would gladly give her steak and lobster for the same price.
