Disney Trips (outside the park)

Post by Croaker » Jun Thu 07, 2007 12:52 pm

anyone take a disney trip that is not park related? like the western trips etc. oops maybe if you aren't aware but if you go to disney.com they offer special trips around the world sponsered through Disney. Living in Wyoming i was curious about the one here. where they take you, itinerary etc. i was actually impressesed because they take you to Brooks Lake which is pretty much a local's hidden paradise yet Disney found it and added it to their itinerary.

yeah, that's Adventures By Disney product that they started offereing about a year or so ago. That have about 3 or 4 tours that are exclusively in the US. the rest are international tours to places like Italy, Brazil, England, Ireland...

Cool thing about the program is they include nearly EVERYTHING (itinerary, lodging, meals, guides, transportation...), and you can relax and have a great time.

here's a link to the ABD page: http://abd.disney.go.com/abd/en_US/index?name=HomePage

a good perk - if you book a ABD package through AAA, you get a free, commemorative, leather bound photobook. we had a Disney rep come to our local AAA back in October or November and put on a couple of small presentations about some of the products that Disney Travel offers. really interesting stuff...

ABD is an amazing product - breakdown the price by what you're getting and it's actually not such a bad deal, either. I can't wait to see the 2008 tour line up which should be released soon!
