Disneyland in five days!

odd thing happened about 3 weeks ago my wife's friend had called and invited her to Cancun for a timeshare presentation (in other words...Cancun for under $500) i was crushed thinking...how could you not think of me. but....God works in Wonderful ways. shortly after my pout...er disappointment in her! yeah...um anyways a long time freind of ours saw our pictures of Disney and asked if we would take him someday. he's 43 but mentally about 12-15. it was the very next day i received a deal from Travelocity for flight, dining package, parkhopper pass and stay (all-star, carribean, etc.) nice price too....thought wait a minute....why not! So today its official..i'm scrambling to put together a nice 5 day package for he an I in Disney World, September! wish me luck in dining reservations and short lines...usually i travel with my autistic daughter and we get a special guest pass allowing us special seating, this time i go as a line waiting unofficial non-special guest. but it will be worth it to see his face...he is so enamoured with Pirates and Indiana Jones

Well, I'm leaving for LA tomorrow morning, so I probably won't be posting until Sunday or Monday when I get back. Three more days until Disneyland!

Maqique Enjoy your trip, your lucky, I'm thinking sometime next year I'm going to try to make it to Disney again, I have not been since 2003, thats too big of a gap! in between times going.

Thank you. It isn't too often I get to go to a Disney theme park. The only problem I foresee is large crowds. Especially since the Finding Nemo subs just came out!

Large crowds are better than no crowds (in not being there at all).

Just came back. The crowds were harsh. Especially at night when all the parades and fireworks were going on. When we went over to California Adventure, there was nobody.

For most rides, there was little to no wait in line at all.

Before we started going to WDW, I spent many childhood vacations at Disneyland. It has now been 11 years since I have been, and I would love to go back. If only my WDW AP worked both ways.
