So looking forward to this adult version of WDW!
Sad part is, this is my last trip on my AP. Not worth it to renew.
Planning on attending the meet in December and then I have no idea when my next trip will be :(

Honeymoon? Congrats!

We've got 28 days until we get on a plane for our honeymoon trip to Disneyland! Staying all fancy-shmancy at the GC, concierge level!

Change of plans. I was originally planning WDW for either Nov or Dec but I think it's changing. I just booked airfare from Columbus to LA on Skybus. Round trip for $20.00. With taxes and extras it came to $40.80 :D Its a new "no frills" airline but I thought I'd give it a try. I spend more than that for a tank of gas. So now its off to DLR!!!!! Guess its time to start planning the trip. Be there Dec 2nd for 4 days :mickey:

No frills? No worries! We don't get any frills on Northwest anyhow, we're lucky that they even bother giving us something to drink. For that price I'll bring my own drink!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

In reading up on them it looks like they have purchased all new Airbus A-319 aircraft with leather seats. The planes will only have one class of seats and no movies. Drinks and snacks are available at an extra charge if you want them. The company is modeled after Raynair in Europe and Southwest in the US and many of the people who are starting it came from those two companies. There are no reserved seats but you can pay an extra $10 for a limited supply of proioity boarding passes to get the first choices if you want.

Interesting. Apparently Skybus only flies in and out of Columbus... they don't even have an easy way to do a one-stop flight on your way to somewhere else on their website, you have to actually book two completely separate flights.

Good stuff if you live in Ohio though. If they add service to Orlando I'll be more interested in figuring out how much a one-stop would be.

I heard, on the news, about that airline. I would love to try it, hack for 20 bucks I'd go somewhere every weekend.....if I lived near one of the airports.

I'm lucky enough to live in Columbus so its great for me. Hopefully once they're off the ground, so to speak, they'll add more flights and destinations. They are committed to purchase about 65 planes from Airbus and currently their routes account for less than a dozen actual aircraft so it looks like they plan to expand quite a bit. They say that at least 10 seats on every flight will sell for $10 (plus tax) and that is not just as a start up incentive, they plan to always do it that way.
