Currently plan to be at The House The Mouse Built from Dec 8-16... celebrating my 28th birthday, the two year anniversary of my soon-to-be-wife and I getting engaged, three years since we started dating, and the holiday season.

we (as SR) are planning a meet-up between December 1 and December 9. I know I, for one, am going during that time, along with a friend who is not on the forums. She has a few other people lined up to come as well, but they also are not visitors here. Dr. Ravenscroft said he'd be going down and would be up for the meet, and he'd be bringing his brother. Foldmama also expressed her interest in joining in on the festivities for at least one day, but she has to get through her May trip first.

You can read up on the details I've gathered so far in this thread:
viewtopic.php?t=1767

the details for the 2007 meet start on page 5 or 6 (I think 6)

Remember I will be there working for the Disney as part of the College Program so once I find my role, you should come find me :)

I wish we could go for Mousefest, it sounds like they had a lot of fun this year. Unfortunately, we can't afford it this time.

Hi - Yes, I am still planning on the week of the Subsonic meet. If all goes well, I would arrive on Saturday the 1st and depart on the 7th or 8th! Just not sure yet if a friend from the office will also be at WDW that week. If they are, I would spend a day or two with them. They are WDW rookies! :mickey:

I WAS planning on being there Dec 14-21, but unless my wife has a change of heart or my wallet has a change in width, the trip has been post-poned (Disney trips are never cancelled)

Just remember, people are planning a Subsonic Radio meet in December. Those of you visiting then should try and meet up.

I plan on visiting either the first or second week of december. I'm trying to find out some more info on which week is the best to choose. I've heard that the first week has been getting more crowded due to the filming of the parade in Magic Kingdom. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Dr. Ravenscroft and I were there the first week in December this past year, and we didn't find the crowds to be that bad. I think the longest time we waited for a ride was about 30-45 minutes, but that was on Expedition Everest, and we wanted to see the queue instead of doing fastpass. Soarin' was also fairly busy, but it went fairly quickly. everything else was almost walk-on, even without fastpass.
