countdown program

Post by js3901 » Jul Mon 10, 2006 10:54 pm

I found a nifty little countdown program especially for WDW trips. it's called the D-World Countdown. It's literally a counter taking from your desktop clock. you just enter the date of your arrival, and it counts the days, hours, minutes, and seconds until your arrival date. It'll cycle a couple of pictures of various WDW landmarks (I think 6 or 7 pictures total). I now know that I have 144 days, 0 hours, 6 minutes, and 36 seconds until I'm there.

It also has a link to Sorcerer1.com. unfortunately, they're a competitor in that they have a streming radio site. luckily, it's on Live365, so many people won't go there.

But, in any case, this is a nifty little desktop countdown program you can use. just thought I'd give everyone a heads up...

There is another one called MouseTrack, available at www.pocketdisney.com ... I've used that one quite a few times.

That's the one I used about one year out from my trip that just end ( ) I was telling my g/f and my friend who went with me how many days were left like when it was up over 300 and they thought I was nuts, but then right around 2 months prior they started asking "How many days?" :-p It only tells you days though, not hours/minutes/sec etc.
