Disney Hilton Head

Post by G2-4T » Jan Fri 21, 2005 11:31 am

Anyone out there been to their hotel on Hilton Head? I might be passing thru that area this year and curious if anyone else has been there. I've heard it is like the hotels at the parks, just without the park...

You're talking the hotel in South Carolina, right? I haven't stayed there but I've heard good things about it.

Thanks for the links. I tried but somehow didn't find the official one, and the other ones help out too. Looks interesting.

for the official site, you would have to look under the Vacation Club as HH is a Vacation Club resort. I went first to Disney.com, then clicked on Disney Destinations. From there, on the bottom of the page there's a link for "Disney Vacation Club" under Other Destinations. then there's Disney's Hilton Head Resort under the "See all resorts" drop down at the top of the screen (in the Flash window).

Or you could also run a search on it and find the info...

I have stayed there twice, both times just for the night, not an extended stay. It is part of the Disney Vacation Club (timeshare) and it is lovely. There is a main lodge and several outbuildings. It is located about 30 minutes off of I-95. They have studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. Mostly two-bedrooms, so the studios and one-bedrooms go quickly.

It is fanastic, I stayed there this spring going btwn Charleston and Savannah and loved it [even though it was just one night!]. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are really nice, and they have some fun things like horseshoes [man, am I rusty!] and bike trails all around the area. Very highly recommended!

I stayed there right after they opened for 3 nights. It was fantastic. The resort was very relaxed. The rooms were beautiful...much better than the reuglar WDW hotels. If you have stayed at one of the vacation club villas at WDW you know the difference. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. It was huge. It had a full kitchen, living room, a king size bed in the master, 2 double beds in the 2nd bedroom, 2 bathrooms, a washer / dryer, and a deck overlooking the marsh. The master bath has a jacuzzi tub & seperate shower. Some of the best golf in our country is just minutes away. The hotel pool was nice too. They have several planned excursions that you can sign up for such as a sunset cruise, and a dolphin cruise. We did the dolphin cruise. It was cool...the dolphins swam right along side the boat as if they were racing us. I highly recommend this resort!

It is a beautiful resort. True Disney service and ambiance, but no theme parks. I have stayed there twice while passing thru on the way to WDW, but I would love to spend more than just one night at a time there in the future.

They have lots of activities for kids and grownups and families alike.
