Also make sure you are not running too much in the background that will cause the machine to work harder and drain the battery faster. If it is a 15 inch I think you could switch off the stand alone graphics card and just use the built in one to improve the battery life.
Sweet! Thanks! I'll check out energy saver. I think on the plane I can cut it down to just chem draw because I'll be working on the project unless I need to get into dropbox on the internet. It's a 13 inch, nice and portable! I think I do have a layover somewhere so hopefully it'll be enough time to charge it a bit. Down to 1 more week! I can't wait to go! Down to just my 3 finals and the Castle of Otranto to read. Oh and the Rape of the Lock as well (bloody useless, senseless poem).

If it's a thirteen inch you should easily get 4-5 hours. To improve battery life cut of the Bluetooth, wireless card (when not needed), turn your screen brightness a coupleif notches lower and quit out stuff running in the background. I have done over 3 hours of class time and still had just under half a battery without taking all of those precautions to preserve power. In fact, I never even take my power adaptor with me to college!

The week will pass by. Just remember the light at the end of the tunnel and these are the last few things that you need to get through in order to experience pure bliss and enjoyment!

Thanks! I'll use those tips! I shouldn't really need to have airport on while I'm on the plane (unless I feel the need for some streaming Disney music to set the mood....). I rarely use bluetooth unless there is something on my phone I need to download, so that's good. Never thought of turning down the screen brightness either. That's awesome! I almost always take my power adapter but only because I'm at school from 8-3ish usually.

I'm down to 3 finals and I'm FREE! :hatter_bounce: FREE!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait! This has been a very long quarter. Very frustrating. Never knew I could like a literature course. Never figured that would be my favorite class this quarter actually. CRAZY!
