I think my camera came from Ikea! The manual is quite cryptic! :ccat:

I''m hoping to get to it tomorrow, if I can get my chem lab report done.

I'm not looking forward to the crowds, but it'll be nice to be down there. Plus it'll keep me from going nuts! I'm not a break person because I get bored easily. Yes, I'm weird.

Trying to figure out all my ADR's and stuff. It'll be good. I'm ready to go now.

OK, so I'm so up for a meetup if anyone wants to. I'll be there March 18-April 1. :hm_ghost:

So ready to get out of here I swear! I'm in the process of dumping my lab partner. So unreliable it's not even funny! Waited an hour for him on Monday to print off the lab and do his pre-lab (which should have been done before he got there) and I constantly have to help him. I am not a tutoring service. If he'd like to pay $75 an hour, I'll gladly teach him anything we're learning in chemistry.

I really need to be swept away by a hot Aussie... :D

Good luck on the hot Aussie ~ but I found Italian men to be cuter and more attentive ;) The Aussies are a bit full of themselves, the Italians just seem to be sure of themselves
Wow, you are going to be there for a long time ~ have fun!!

Wow a two week spring break! I'm happy with the one week I don't have to commute to RU. However, somehow the professors seem to conveniently assign work for you to complete over break since it is due the day or two after you get back.

I look forward to hearing about your trip!

We got two weeks when I was in school too! It was great! Of course that was some time ago.....

We went down there one year for Spring Break. What a great time! We had 20 of us. Felt like we took over the place.

Professor like that should be punished by having their cars disassembled and put back together again in their offices...or something worse...

Thanks Len! Don't think I'm getting away with no work... he he he. I got tapped to do a project for my favorite chem prof, so on the plane ride there and back and possibly at night I'll be doing computer work for him. So I don't completely get to get away from school, but yeah, 2 weeks is awesome! I'm pumped!

So not looking forward to finals in 2 weeks... YIKES!

OMG! That would be off the hook! It's going to be much fewer than 20 on my trip... LOL!

AMEN TO THAT! Professors like that should be shot. What are they thinking? Good grief! They don't want to work over a break, why do they think we do?

Wow you're finals are already coming up? Wow my spring break first starts in a week from today. It really is tough to have work over a vacation, but I like your idea in handling it. Knock it out on the plane rides!

Yup. Finals are before Spring Break. We're on quarters here so Fall is September-December, Winter is Jan-March, Spring is April-June, Summer is June-August. It's nice to not have to worry about doing work over break or come home to tests and stuff. One of my friends from Ohio has Spring Break next week, so I'm going to go visit her for the weekend. She has an orgo test when she gets back. YIKES!

The plane rides from here are around 6 hours each way, so you figure that's 12 hours of time if I can get the macbook battery to last that long.

Some planes have power outlets on them where you can actually plug in your computer. I know continental has that on their planes in at least the first 15 rows. Secondly, if it is a newer MacBook Pro, you can easily get 5-6 hours out of the battery and still have time to spare. I know from experience :D

I got my macbook pro in August of last year so it's newer. I just need to figure out how to change the battery settings because it's definitely not that good right now! :? I think I'm on Delta going down and I think I chose it because of the power outlets. I think I'm on Jetblue coming home, so I don't think they have them. I'll have to check.

You can change that through the system preferences. I think you have to go to energy saver. Also make sure you are not running too much in the background that will cause the machine to work harder and drain the battery faster. If it is a 15 inch I think you could switch off the stand alone graphics card and just use the built in one to improve the battery life.
