Hi everyone,

WOW, so many great things have been happening while I have been away. With all of this getting fit, I find I am exhausted by the end of the day and just want to crash. By the time we get home, run/walk/Wii, make dinner, clean the kitchen and then shower it is usually 8:45 p.m. But, I miss you guys and wanted to see what is going on.

Everyone is doing such a great job! Keep it up. I had lost 17 lbs but have gained a few back. Not sure how that happened since I am stil on Atkins. I am sure it is just a part of the normal cycle of weight loss. I had heard that once you lost a good amount of weight you would really have to kick your body into gear to ge out of the plateau. So this week my goal is to work extra hard.

Just a side note, we just purchased a Nikon DSLR camer and are so excited to use it on our next trip to Disney. We are enjoying your photos on the other thread.

I know there are a few that have the WII Fit Plus as I have, I'm still enjoying the challenges but I need someone to compete against beating my own best score is getting a little boring.

How do we do this? Post on this thread or can we play on-line?

I like the Advanced Step, Super Hula and Free Run. I am game for anything. What do you think?

I've been walking on my lunch with a friend who is a speed walker. We are up to 3.5 miles a day and her pace is fast enough for my short legs that I know I'll be able to take quick runs to fast pass machines with no problem!

Thank you! There were a few times I was like, 'She's going to kill me' but kept going. What we won't do for Disney!

That is smart training! You really can have an advantage if you can speed walk since you can't really run!

Great job everyone!

I gained a little this week, but I blame that on my lack of self-control over this past weekend. We over-celebrated a bit...

Hakuna Matata! This week will be better!!!! I really like having a support group of sorts here! It's a great motivator!

Ok Mouseoholic you picked three that I have never done before and they are all big hitters so I have chosen three for warm up and cool down.
MY stats are:-
Super Hula 718 spins
Step Plus 524pts
Free Run 2843 miles
I'm sure your much higher on these ones.
Now my three,
Snowball Advanced 46 Hits (great stress buster when you have a bad day at work pound those little characters with snowballs)
Obstacle Course Advanced 595pts
Table Tilt Plus 136pts
Bring it on Mouseoholic the challenge starts here.

Just for fun Snowball Super advanced they throw snowmen's heads at you gruesome or what and you don't have any lives if they hit that's it, highest score on this one 22 Hits.

I find that works best is speeding up your metabolism. Start eating 5 small meals a day and stay active. You dont have to get into the gym everyday but even the little stuff like parking farther away or walking up the stairs instead of taking the elevator really makes a difference. I speak from experience... this really works!

I definitely want to be fit if Im going on a trip... but this way of living for me is a lifestyle change.

Great job to all of you that are getting into shape and dropping those pounds! Thats awesome! :D
