2010 WDW Resort Rates?

Post by Future Guy » Jul Sat 18, 2009 7:48 am

Does anyone know when they'll release the resort rates for 2010? We're trying to plan our January trip.

Thanks!

Last year, they were released in September. Anyone can correct me if they know otherwise.

I was just on the WDW site, the new rates are up. I'm really disappointed, they now have everything broken day, value, peak, weekend, weekday etc....it's not very user friendly. I'm disappointed that Disney has made things more difficult. The different rates were bad enough, now they have more categories. The rates didn't climb too much, but enough with this economy. I don't think there should be such a severe jump between moderate and deluxe resorts.

Anyway, the new rates are up.

Cool! Is there anywhere on the site where you can go to view an overview of the rates? The only way I can tell to see what the prices are is to act like I'm booking a vacation, and play around with different dates and resorts.

What does everyone think the odds are of Disney continuing with the Buy 4 Days Get 3 Free for some time period during the summer months of 2010?

I think they will continue, the economy hasn't improved that much.

I am hoping that they do continue that promotion through this summer. I know last year we booked before the promotion was extended through the summer and we were automatically put into the promotion when it was announced.

Given how long your family went last time, Len90, that deal is definitely a great deal for you.

Boilerbabe - can you include a link to the website you referred to that has the new rates??

It really was. It cut the cost of our vacation (hotel and park tickets) by 38%.
