I'm back!
I had a real good weekend with my girlfriend. We stayed at Pop Century together which was good. We received 60% off the resort with the Cast Member Discount and 50% off Disney Dining Plan so I was really excited for our mini-vacation together. I arrived on Thursday night while she worked till 1115, so by th time I checked in, I had enough time to unpack and relax a little bit. Our room was in the 50s section which I liked, we were on the first floor in building 1 which was a shortdistance away from the pool & the lobby.
We woke up the next morning and went straight to Animal Kingdom, rode Dinosaur & Everest (with no Fastpassses) as she wanted to do all her favorite rides on her birthday. Then we took a bus to DHS, and rode TOT & saw Beauty & the Beast. Then we were a bit tired because we got no sleep the night before so we went back to the resort to take a quick nap before our reservations. Our reservations was at 445 at Le Cellier. We made sure we got there as early as possibile so we wouldnt lose them. This was my first time at Le Cellier in over 10 years so it' been quite awhile. I had the Mushroom Filet Mignon, and she had the Salmon, we split a cup of Cheddar Cheese Soup since she never had it beore so she wasnt sure if she wanted a whole cup. The Filet Mignon was the best I ever had. Then for dessert, they brought her out a Moose Cake with Maple Leaf ears (I'll post some pics later). Service was good but there was times when she disappeared and it seemed like it took forever but I still enjoyed my experince there. We even dressed up casually for the occasion.
Then we did singles rider for TT & SSE, and went back to the hotel to rest up again as MK was EMH on Friday. Then we got to MK just in time for Wishes, which we watched from the Frontierland bridge near Liberty Square Riverboat which I recommend if you've seen Wishes a bunch of times. Its quieter over there, you don't get the whole castle experience but it was better than deaing with crowds & people talking.
We saw HoP after Wishes & I liked it the changes a lot. Morgan Freeman was a good choice for narrator, I liked the Abe Lincoln touch, and Washington introducing Obama. Then we ate our quick service for the day in Tomorrowland, rode Buzz & went back to the resort to finish our long long day. I can't believe we went to all 4 parks in 1 day.
I'll finish the other 3 days later.
EDIT: Here are the picures:

Sounds like a great first day/night there. I knew you would love the food at Le Cellier. I am upset that you didn't follow my advice in getting the Kansas City Strip Steak but the Filet is my number 2 dish there. I had that when we went in July 2008 and it was my favorite meal of our 2008 vacation. What kind of beer is that you had in Le Cellier. My brother and dad had a beer that they both loved there.
Hitting all 4 parks in one day! That is both impressive and extremely tiring.

On Saturday, We had to wake up early (for a vacation at least), as we had 9:00 reservation at 1900 Park Faire for Breakfast. We took the bus to the magic kingdom then hopped on the monorail, which was a little weird being my first time on the monorail since the accident. After arriving at GF, We had to figure out where this place was since we weren't familar with GF. It was interesting that that took your picture before you sat down, then we sat down, and all the characters came over & did their thing & we got pictures together with them.
Well the best characters were Alice & The Mad Hatter. Alice came over first, and we had a discussion about tea parties, and how MH's tea parties were no fun because he kept on changing seats etc. Then she told us to tell him about it when he comes over to us. It was a fun 2-3 minute conversation before we took pictures together. Then 5-10 minutes later, I had to get a new plate and I decided on an omlette this time, so it took awhile to make as there was 2 people in front of me. In the meantime, I spot the MH sitting in my seat, talking with my girlfriend, Aurora. She told me later that he sat down and asked her if she was having a solo tea party, then he asked where the tea was and saw my coffee cup filled up, so he asked her whose this cup was, and she said Derek so he gets on top of my chair, and yells my name at the top of his lungs, "DERRREEKKKK, HOW CAN YOU BE DRINKING THIS DIRT & WATER, WHERE IS THE TEA? COME OVER HERE NOW!" So everyone staring at me now, I just stand there laughing and waving to them. I come over with my omlette, and he asks me again how I can be drinking this, and I say that he needs to talk to Disney about adding Tea as part of the Disney Dining Package. Then Alice came over, and we had a fun conversation about tea & tea parties and MH ended it by saying that Alice is not invited to anymore of his tea parties. Good times.
After breakfast, we went to Magic Kingdom & rode Peter Pan since it was still early and the line was short. Then we did HM, JC, Pirates, Thunder, COP and had a lot of fun together in the park but we were both getting tired again so we went back to the hotel to rest up before our dinner reservation at SciFI at 7 (which was park close). We got to DHS around 6, and I decided we should do the Animation Draw your own Character, ive only done it once and not really a good artist at all, We drew Genie this time, and mine really looks like an evil version of Genie. SciFi came, and we were placed in the backseat of the car of 4 person family. Our waiter made us take pictures of us kissing, he was a little crazy. He took the other families camera without telling him what he was doing (taking a picture of the whole theater). And whenever he took pictures of us or the family, he was trying so hard to become a professional photographer. The food was OK, I had Steak, and after Le Cellier, the food was just a disappointment but the atmosphere is defnitely worth it but food not so much. Luckily with the dining plan, it's not like it really cost much. We went back to the hotel and pool hopped in all 3 of our resort pools to finish the night
We slept in Sunday after our early mornings then headed to EPCOT. We were both hungry as we woke up past breakfast time and didnt want to eat lunch since our reservations at Teppan Edo was at 3:30. So we got a snack but it really didn't do the job, we went on the rides that we didn't do the other day, like Seas, Circle of Life, Imagination, then headed to World Showcase. When we got to Canada, I saw these new shirts that they were selling around the lagoon. It's grey, lists Canada World Showcase Logo and a small background photo of the Country Icon, and a list of the big cities in that country. However, in Canada, they didnt have my size (large), only small & 2XL so that stunk. Then we just took our time browsing through all the shops, until we made our way to Japan for Lunch. It was my first time there, and first time ever at a hibachi so I was excited as Aurora was excited that it was my first time but she's done it before so not so much excited for herself.
Anyways, we sat down, and I didnt realize how long of a process things take before you start eating and at this point, I was starving!!! But it was well worth the wait, as I really enjoyed the show, our chef was named Ken, and he told little jokes when cutting off the shrimp, and the onions, and such. I gave a nice tip as I'm not sure how they split the tips between the waitress and chef but I hope the chef receives a good amount. I also didn't know how to use chopsticks so I received kiddy version of chopsticks, she made fun of me lol. At least I know I'm not alone with adults who dont know how to use chopsticks though.
After lunch, we sat down and watched Voices of Liberty & AA and made our way all around the lagoon. Aurora and I had front row viewing in the center opening area in front of World Showcase...and this really amazing cast member (who worked in Innoventions) entertained us with trivia, then sing-along, then she found this little girl, and asked her if she wanted to "start the firework show" and she told the girl that the fireworks wouldn't start unless she blew out all of the torches around the lagoon. This little girl was practicing beforehand, she was so adorable. Then when the cast member told her it was time, she did it and everyone clapped. It was such a wonderful time. On our way out of the park, I noticed that they switched the Mickey Wave (that I used to do as a custodian) to the top of the Fountain of Nations where multiple areas do it now. It is really nice touch but I miss doing it as just the custodians near the end of World Showcase but it's OK.
On Monday, we checked out and headed to DHS, and went straight to TSM and the line already said 40 minutes but we knew it was defnitely longer, (FP would have been after when we would have needed to leave). She beat me at TSM only by a few, I actually did good on the Ringtoss area, but then she retook the lead in the last section. We rode Star Tours, Muppets, saw HSM3, and Block Party Bash before leaving the park as we had to head to the airport around 6. It was sad to say goodbye to her but I know that I will be back sometime again this year.

Great trip report and I like the honesty you had on the food. The major draw back to Le Cellier is that almost anything else you eat in the world will fall short. You two make a great couple and I am glad to see you had an amazing time.
What other characters are at 1900 Park Fare besides Hatter and Alice? This is on my list of things to do IF we go next year.

Thanks Derek. I have always wanted to eat a meal with Alice and Mad Hatter. I have personally found that it really only takes 1 character to make the experience memorable so it might be worth a shot then.

Sounds like you had a great trip! I was leaving the day you arrived....
You chose excellent restaurants! Le Cellier and Sci Fi are two favorites of mine. My whole family loved Sci Fi. Definitely now a must-do for us.
Len, I highly recommend 1900 Park Fare. I went twice and it was worth it! The Mad Hatter MAKES that breakfast! He is awesome! The food selection is really good as well.
