Re: fantillusion
Unfortunatley, fantillusion isn't in the huge wad of Disneyland Paris MP3s I sorted for subsonicjosh wrote:hi

I've got the original Fantillusion parade music from when it was in Tokyo Disneyland, which is essentially the same, except the opening, which instead says "From out of the night comes the magic of light, as Tokyo Disneyland proudly presents: Disney's Fantillusion" instead of the multi-language version they play in Paris.
If you're getting withdrawal symptoms from it, you can download an excellent video of the Fantillusion parade in Paris from www.dlrp.co.uk

You're always going to get people talking over videos of the parades and shows, unless the person who encoded it had the soundtrack handy and could sync it well enough, which doesn't often work.josh wrote:WOw great it looks awesome
and i like the music
but thats all i want to hear now you know
and in the video there is some noise and all the people are talking throuh the music
i don't like that but the video is awesome

It's basically Fantasmic! but then since Tokyo Disneyland didn't have a stage where it can occupy the show, they decided to make it into a parade version. It is just AWESOME with 30 fully-lighted floats, three parade stops, etc. (you can tell that it's HUGE!) Too bad not all of the floats were transported to DLP...QuickGold wrote:never heard of it

I like the music and certainly wouldn't mind hearing it on subsonic. Then again i've seen the parade so have my own memories of it. If you've never seen the parade then listening to the music wouldn't be particularly special! I still dont think that the French parades and shows are as good as the American ones.

Hi folks. While I myself have never seen Fantillusion in personfrom I've heard of it it still seems to be a great parade. To me it was the perfet combination of parade and street that Disney had done yet. It certainly was alot better than Ligh Magic was at DL some years ago; at least Fantillusion tried to be closer to the original MSEP in it's creativity. Well I do hope that SubSonic does try and feature it here soon, it would certainly be worth it. Until later, peace.
