I suppose I will have to exercise some more patience...sigh... ;)
The weather while we were there was rather changeable. It was nice and sunny, and rainy all at the same time :)

Only on the last day did it *really* rain, though. The rest was just a light sprinkling of rain.

DLP is very good for that, with their covered walkways that you can use to get from Town Square all the way to the back of Fantasyland without going outside (with the exception of a very small part of Adventureland where you'll need to cross over outside). Seriously, WDW *NEEDS* something like that :)

Gorgeous castle pics Andy! I love it when the characters do funny little things like that...even if it was Duffy. :D
Merci beaucoup! (for the teaser anyway ;) )

He's growing on me...he's got Mickey silhouettes on him for goodness sakes! How can a true Disney fan not think he's at least kinda cute? I'm sure I will end up with one in the future.

The problem I have with Duffy is the way he was shoved down our throats...er, I mean marketed. It also is another reminder that the "Disney Parks" are becoming less and less unique and more a "one size fits all" brand.

Sorry, off my soapbox now....

Nope, your soapbox is completely valid, and I agree with you.

:(

Honestly, I'm all for something created *for the parks*, rather than something based on a movie. Something unique to the parks is a good thing IMHO. I also think the story's cute.

It does surprise me they've not brought Shellie-May over from Tokyo yet (the female equivalent of Duffy). But for the story of Shellie-May to work, they'd also have to bring over TippyBlue the Seagull. Man, I know way too much about this stuff

Not the only one. I gave a Duffy to my daughter a year or so ago. He's pretty cute... just not Disney, kwim?

He's clever marketing. And $$$. Not true and pure Disney magic, in my opinion.

(Photos from my WDW trip in December are the last ones I uploaded there. If you look in "Sets", there's some from DLP in 2010 and 2007 in there, as well as 2006, 2010 (and of course 2011) WDW trips.)
Finally got round to sorting and uploading the photos from DLP :D

They're now on my flickr, in a set of their own right here. There's 73 of them in total. Enjoy!

Nice! I love seeing photos from the other parks around the world :D Looks like it was beautiful when you visited. Gorgeous blue sky and white puffy clouds!
