Let's see, this will be post Daylight Savings Time, so I'll be what, 6 or 7 hours behind here in Florida? I got jet lag crossing from Mountain Standard to Eastern Standard time (2 hour difference) so with me, who can say. I tend to get worn down from travelling, although I think my adrenaline for this will be rather enough to keep me awake for quite some time.
Oh my gosh, you poor thing, jetlag from a two-hour difference. We gotta toughen you up in the next 2 months :D ! Do you have the evening flight from Orlando? I never sleep on a plane, just not comfortable enough, but I do close my eyes to try to rest up after all the hustle/bustle of packing, transfers, security, etc. If you can, I suggest hanging in that first day and try to get to bed a little earlier than you might want. So even though you may feel like it's 5pm EST, it'll be 11pm CET, so stay real hydrated, have some orange juice in the morning, and you'll be pretty good for your first full day. And unless you don't like bread, be prepared to have some of the Best bread in the world! In my book, France = Bread, hands down.
Coming home is much easier, other than all the energy that goes into pouting over having to leave. I can't wait for you to go so we can experience it with you on your return. I hope you'll post some photos.

Anybody recommend where to get tickets for DLP? I'm going in a month. Should I just get them from their site or are there discount sites?

If I had enough comps I'd send you some... My cast comps work at all parks. But seeing as I don't, then I think buying them on site might be the best bet or booking a room/ticket package.

Soarin08: I didn't know you worked there! Awesome man.

To those that replied: Thanks, I'll just order them online from the park.

If you plan to stay on-property you're much better ordering the full package, much along the same line as the Magic Your Way package at WDW.

So I went for a day. It wasn't busy at all. Had no problem seeing everything. Even went on things multiple times. :)

Told ya it was possible. :D

low season + skipping most of the rides you have back home make it very doable.

I have to say, I like POTC better there than DLR and WDW. :)

Phantom Manor's only real limitations are that they had to ditch the original narration (Vincent Price) and that it is way too bright in the ride so it becomes way less gloomy.
