Hi there,
I love the attraction "Cinémagique" at the Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris. Now I'm searching for the soundtrack of the attraction. At my last visit to Disneyland Paris, I bought the CD "Disneyland Paris en musique", hoping, that there is the music from "Cinémagique" on it. Unfortunately it is not.
So, where can I get this wonderful Soundtrack?
Thanks for your help.
Greetings from Germany

I agree, the music from "Cinémagique" is very fun! My Une Journée à Disneyland Paris CD doesn't have any of that music on it either. I did a quick little search around on the internet, and although there were a few promising leads, none of them led to any actual music

I'll keep my ears open for you though!
You didn't by any chance used to be pen pals with a girl from Michigan did you?

Seems like the music from "Cinémagique" hasn't been released yet - there aren't even bootlegs anywhere. Maybe they will release it someday, most of Bruce Broughton's other works for the parks have been released one way or another, if I'm not mistaken.
But in the meantime, somebody should try and record it live, if there is a chance to do that

Be quick if you want to record it, there are rumours that its going to be dissapearing soon due to its unpopularity

If it is shut down, does anyone know what will replace it?

That's surprising it's unpopular, when I saw it there was a big crowd, considering the park was empty. The one thing I didn't like was that the holding areas felt like cattle pens, no where to sit just stand and wait.
The space is so large though they could put a small ride in if they wanted.

Philharmagic was like that at WDW, no place to sit, nothing to really look at, just a big area to stand in and wait until the show started.

Correction: Philharmagic IS like that WDW. Maybe they plan to install that over there at DLP to replace Cinemagique? It easily fits in with the theme of DLP Studios.

I think all the shows other than tiki room suffer from a distinct lack of seating in the waiting areas, alien encounter, bears, etc. all make you stand about for up to 20 mins while you wait to be let in.

Well they have been struggling to fill or even half fill the auditorium so much that theyve been offering people segway rides to cinemagique to get them in lol! The trouble with it is its not exactly an attraction you would do lots of times

Indeed, all the movie/show based attractions suffer that same problem. Cpt. Eo had a line for about the first week it was back and then it went right back to 1990's where no one wanted to see it.

Thats because captain Eo was a nice comeback, but it was more of "oh thats cool whats next" moment, rather than a "we HAVE to see that again" moment. It just isnt that good lol

For about a week, then it was the second choice.
