I think everything is up and running again, they were closed for about 10 days. They also found that it wasn't a wave that caused the water to rush in but it was the vibration that allowed the water to rise up through the reclaimed land and cause the flooding.

Actually, Tokyo Disneyland isn't open yet, mostly due to rolling blackouts. The general thought is it might reopen by April 15th. I sure hope so, as we're heading there in May!

Is this due to the last round of earthquakes?

^The blackouts are due to the original earthquake, but apparently it was announce on Friday that blackouts in the Disneyland area are done. It looks like the most recent round didn't affect the power, thank goodness.

Bummer, I wonder if you could cancel your trip to there without any cost?

I believe TDL opened today for the first time but DisneySea and one of the hotels (Mira Costa???) is still closed.

That is correct.

TDL has opened but with reduced hours like what the article Len has posted. At least they're using it as a precaution and to check up on whatever rides need repair like Big Thunder Mountain.

I have a feeling the reduced usage is stuff that failed inspections/utility shortages. I wonder if anything was damaged beyond repair?

Could also be to reduced staff to man the parks' daily operations. I'm sure many of their employees are trying to get their lives back into order.

I am disappointed about DisneySeas. I was looking forward to seeing some video of their new Fantasmic on YouTube.

I wonder if it will be closer to DLR's version or DHS's?

The concept art makes it look likes it's DLR Fantasmic + DLR DCA's WoC.

Neat, I imagine they benefited from the improvements to the water screens that came about with WoC.

Reduced usage to conserve energy as apparently Japan is having power issues. Hours are reduced to avoid having all the park lights on at night. The only thing that did not open and sustained damage was BTM. The car parks were damaged but already repaired.

It was announced yesterday that Disney Sea will open on April 28th along with the Miracosta Hotel and the new Fantasmic! They're also resuming normal operating hours, albeit with reduced lighting.

Here's the official announcement:
