Space Mountain - BBC - Shoot for the Moon

Post by tomdavo1 » Mar Mon 23, 2009 2:30 pm

I was browsing the net and found this, I don't think it has been posted here before;
"A feature of Disneyland Paris' Space Mountain. From design, construction, and opening, the story also intervenes with the historical facts of Disney ultimately being the one who pushed, and indirectly, started the United States NASA Program. Through "Science Factual" shows such as Ward Kimball's "Man in Space", created under scientific facts from rocket engineers such as Von Braun, inspiration was drawn in the American society."
Very interesting, don't watch if you don't want to spoil any of the magic of this ride! :)
