Here's any interesting report about a possible new Disneyland:

Well it's not a big surprise. There's a lot of money in that part of the world. Hopefully Disney will build it like TDS and not like DLP

do we really need another park in that part of the world? and another Disneyland park at that? I understand that's where the money is right now, but still... we have 2 parks already - Tokyo and Hong Kong. I think we should have one closer to Europe/Africa, or one n the center of the US.

DISNEY WORLD KANSAS is what I am talkin about :) The problem is they would have to close down for 3-4 months out of the year for weather :( so most likely it would be DISNEY WORLD TEXAS and that would suit me just fine not that much farther to drive. Or improving the parks here state side. Either are a better choice than another park over sea's which 90% of us will never get to see :P

I think Disney shouldn't be thinking of building any new disney themeparks, they should use all their money sorting out other parts of the company that are weak (when will disney produce another popular animated movie that isn't a pixar film or a sequel?) or disney merchandise that is geared towards adults (themeparks and disney stores are very lacking). In the past when Disney has had huge projects that cost them alot of money they haven't always been successful (disneyland paris, abc purchase, etc), also if they did build a new park outside the US it would be a mistake to not run the park themselves again (as in tokyo, hong kong and paris parks)

I don't think you should put Tokyo in this mix. From all reports it could be the best park.

Yeah, really. I would be ecstatic if the Oriental Land Company took over the American theme parks...

I wish they would use the money to better the ones they have. Updating of several attractions would be a nice thing to attract past visitors to say another trip.
