Just spotted a link to this forum thread somewhere.. This is quite a cool idea.. Any of the other resorts got these? I don't remember seeing them at WDW..

I have never seen anything like that at DL or WDW. That does not mean they don't exist of course.

well, I don't believe there is anything like those at WDW, as (if I read the the subject correctly, I don't read/speak french, so could be off) the subject reads, these medallions are in the Esplanade area. and as WDW doesn;t really have the esplanade area that the other parks do (what with the monorail station, and the seven seas lagoon and accompanying boat docks). I'll have to ask/wach for them when I go down next time, though...

Yeah, I believe they're in the area between the two parks and Disney Village, and as you say, WDW hasn't got an area like that.

I suppose if they were to put them at WDW, they'd be best placed either outside MK or somewhere around the World Showcase area of Epcot?

The other resorts have an Esplande area, though...

I don't think I've ever seen a compass, but I remember seeing a sign on Castaway Cay that points in the directions of all the parks and tells the distances.
