The background for the ride is just as good as the original TZ idea at WDW. There's even a bit of a joke in the entrance foyer, Mr. Hightower is standing at the "Raging Spirits" (the roller coaster in the Lost River Delta port) location with another one of his ill-gotten items. It opens up on Monday the 4th!

Nice self promotion there, Quick :)

Seriously, lots of good info on that site. I'm downloading the video right now. It sounds similiar to DCA's version. Boo, no 5th dimension!

What?! No 5th dimension? That's why I'm currently boycotting the DCA version. Without the 5th Dimension it's like the Maliboomer inside a building.

I had high hopes that the Tokyo version would have something new and exciting because of the different plot.

I watched the video, it's got the same ride system as DCA. But, has cooler effects, actually, way cooler. The appearances of the idol are neat.

There's some great technology out there and Disney needs to start using it more!

Wow. I finally got a chance to skim through parts of the video and read the plot line. The set for this ride looks amazing. I love the idol as well. So, no 5th dimension, but a big improvement over DCA in my mind.

I really don't know why. It's a shame indeed. Well I have a feeling they had a height limit for the build to not have any lights on top to ruin the feeling. Now if anyone can prove my theory or disporve, would be greatly welcomed.
Love Tomorrowland and Adventureland, but hard to decide to which one is best.

First time I see pictures from Tokyo's TOT. Being my favorite attraction, I am crushed to know that the best looking TOT is out of my reach... or I'm going to have to plan a vacation in Japan.

I like the look from Tokyo's Tower Of Terror. It's looking creepy, some sort of medieval-cathedral look but it also looks very luxurious.

I was very disappointed that I was at Disney Sea a few weeks before the opening so I did not get to ride, but It looks impressive, the attention to detail and design are constant with the high quality of that whole park
