The whole resort is 310 acres (126 hectares) and includes a theme park with four lands and two themed hotels.
In order to create this theme park resort, the site will contain the following:
-57 kilometers (35 miles) of pipeline
-11 kilometers (6.8 miles) of cable
-1,000 manholes
-2 million cubic meters (2.5 million cubic yards) of topsoil created solely to support the extensive landscaping on the site.
Hong Kong Disneyland will be the fifth Disneyland-styled theme park in the world, the eleventh Disney park ever built and the first to recreate many of the exact designs of the original Disneyland in California including its Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Hong Kong Disneyland's attractions are as follows:
-Hong Kong Disneyland Railroad
-Jungle River Cruise
-Tarzan's Treehouse
-"Festival of the Lion King"
-Mickey's PhilharMagic
-Cinderella Carousel
-The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
-Dumbo the Flying Elephant
-Fantasy Gardens
-Mad Hatter Tea Cups
-"The Golden Mickeys"
-Space Mountain
-Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
-Orbitron
The following attractions will be added soon for the Phase 1 extension:
-Autopia (open in Summer 2006)
-"it's a small world"
-Peter Pan's Flight
-Pirates of the Caribbean
-Raging Spirits
Although the ticket is the cheapest among all Disney theme parks, there are only 22 entertainment items in the Hong Kong Disneyland, comparing to 44 in each of the theme park of Paris, 45 in Tokyo and Florida, and 65 in California. The per-item cost is the highest among all Disney them parks.
