an important difference between the american and the european parks are the guests and their way to behave and the way they respond to the shows and parades
though europeans may be more calm which can be good sometimes (less children yelling and screaming in DLRP than in WDW) the drawback is that they are also very introvert with the shows and parades and it's hard to make them applause....
different cultures...good and bad things in both

DLP is great for a quick fix of Disney, but not the sort of place to go for as a main holiday imho. There just isn't enough to there, a day or two is enough for me. I often just go for a day trip ( I can get the train from England straight to DLP in a couple hours! :D )

It has been improving recently. A lot of the park has been done up for its b'day celebration and there is more to do now there is the second park, which will of course be even better once RnRcoaster opens.

The main difference for me is the people. In America there is a real openess and freindlyness to all the people, cast members and guests alike. The europeans are rather more reseved which is a shame.

I'm sure you mean Crush's Coaster and Cars Race Rally ;)
RnRcoaster is open for 5 years now, from the opening of the WDS park.

I love Disneyland Paris!!

My most favourite attractions are Phantom Manor, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean,
Star Tours, Space Mountain Mission 2 and Rock'n'Rollercoaster starring Aerosmith.

I also think that Crush's Coaster will be great, and I even can't wait untill Tower of Terror :D :D.
It's a shame that Tower of Terror won't open when Disneyland Paris celebrates it's 15th anniversary ...

I agree with you I dont think it's a good idea to open the new attractions throughout the whole year....I dread people who go now are going to be disappointed that the Tower of Terror wont open until January...
ONE big event would have been better I think

Hello there. While I have not been to DLRP myself...yet I can honestly say I've been very excited about it since day one. I guess it's because it's just so different from the Disney parks here in the states. Sometimes it's the big things like different rides, attractions, shows, and even lands. Sometimes it's small things like the attention to detail, the maintanance and cleanliness, and just the feeling of being in a familiar place but also far away at the same time. I always say that DLP is what Walt had in mind when he first built Disneyland 50 years ago but with better technology and more space. Anyway it is nice to know that there is someplace in the world where u can feel just as at home than when you are. Until next time, peace.

We plan on visiting DLP next summer for our anniversary, any idea how to get a brocure on the park? The DLP web site does not send them to the US as far as I can tell.

Hi,

If you head on over to the Disneyland Paris website, you can download their "e-brochure", which is the same as the printed ones, but.. electronic.

You can cheat, however and just click this link to go directly to it:
http://www.disneylandparis.com/BROCHURE ... let=&page=

Note however in that link the prices are in UK Pounds Sterling, not US Dollars.

Andy.

My wife and I are going to Europe this summer (Rome, Florence and Paris). Is it worth my while to visit Disneyland Paris. The web site looks interesting. Is it very expensive or comparable to DisneyWorld.
Thanks

Steve
