I think that all of you Americans ought to make the trip once. Personally I think WDW has the best disbey feel as all the people are so nice, but Paris does have some amazing rides. Even the originals like Pirates are better in Paris as they learnt so much about what works and what doesn't from the other parks.

Pirates is better as it has a couple of good drops, short, but fast and unexpected. Each time you go down a drop the scenary changes. You go from the loading area into a peaceful, moonlit shore line. Then up a ramp into the pirates lair where you get the normal pirate sceens. "We wants the red head" etc. The down a rop takes you into a bit of a battle groud and round into the supposed burning city with the jail sceen etc. And then another drop takes you into the skelenton pirate bit. It sounds odd as i am bad at descibing it, but its really good. Also the anamatronics seem better, but maybe thats just me. You never exactly see them side by side so its hard to be definate.
The lighting effects also seem more realistic.

I got a concussion every time I rode it! Though I enjoyed it very much anyway...
have you been on de la terre a la lune?
that was shaking, haha, it is very nice to see how smooth the track is now!
(remember the speed and that the attraction is now 13 years old.

Are you serious?!?
I know it was bad on the old Space Mountain, but i thought it felt a lot less jolty when they changed it to Space Mountain 2. Having said that it has been several months now since I was in Paris so maybe it has gotten worse again.
Its a shame if it has as its my fav ride in Paris, i could never ride the old one more than 3 times i a row as my head would be pounding so much. When i was there last i had a comp. with a mate, and won by riding 14 consequtive times. It was awesome!!

I never got to go on the first Space Mountain. But I went on Mission 2 last October and found it quite shaky!
I don't think it's the speed so much as the age of the cars (RocknRoller Coaster didn't seem shaky at all). From what I've read it has to do with the wheels that sit along the inside of the track; they get loose as the car ages and apparently can only be replaced by replacing the entire car (!?).
But it's still my favorite ride, too!

Hi together!
I love SMM2 since I ride it the first time. Above all I love the music. Unfortunately I located only the short 1-minute-version. Where can I geht the 2-minutes-version which is also played here on subsonicradio? Are there any working links where I can download the music? Many thanks for your help!
