Adventures by Disney: England & France

I've been absent from the forums for a bit because I was working full time at my day job & taking all the classes from the Disney College of Knowledge in the evenings to become a vacation planner for http://www.JKMouseTravel.com (my bio will be on the site shortly)! I graduated, got my certificate and already have 2 trips for clients on the calendar.

One of those trips is Adventures by Disney: England and France for my mom and sister! I'm completely jealous and bummed that I don't have the $ or vacation time (from the day job) to tag-along. But still happy to have booked their trip.

So do any subbers have Adventures by Disney tips or reports to share? All of the training materials I read make the Adventures by Disney trips sound amazing. But that's what marketing/sales training is supposed to do. Make me all excited to sell a trip to folks. The best way to differentiate between spin and reality is of course to go on one myself or ask y'all.

I haven't been on any of the tours, but they do sound pretty amazing At the very least, you should get an honest report from your Mom and sister when they get back. Will you be able to go on any trips so you can give first hand experiences? That would be an excellent perk!

My wife and I went on the Viva Italia tour May of 2013. It was an amazing trip and our ABD folks absolutely top notch. Orvieto and Tuscany was our favorite spots. Scenery you see in photo books! We're looking at Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic for the fall of 2015. We'll see how my wife's vacation bid goes.

I can go, but I would still have to pay. Maybe a teeny tiny bit less, but not enough to make a difference.

Someday, though. I dream that maybe I can save enough and take an Adventure by Disney with my future kid(s) as the perfect adoption day gift.

That would be a great trip for you and the child(ren) to bond over! I didn't know how the discounts for travel agents work. It seems like some of the people on Facebook are going all the time ~ they must just have really good savings accounts.
