I shamelessly stream requests all day long at work. I really wish i could snap a picture of the looks i get when people walk in my office... Anyone else get asked about their music at work?

Right there with you. It's not enough that I have lots of Disney pictures and items in my office, the music adds to the theme.

When I did an internship a few years ago, I was playing the stream on my computer and a co-worker thought I was listening to elevator music. I laughed to myself.

My Disney was banished to headphones when I worked in my other office. Now I have my own office it is all Disney all the time

i didn't find this site before i got my own little cave/office. And i'm quickly becoming known as the "weird guy who listens to weird music." Especially during a "ride thru" track. People really seem to have no clue what it is. And i have decided its more fun not to tell them.

I have had a few strange looks in my car when I have friends riding with me...they are pretty used to it by now though

I have received the same reaction at work. I just laugh it off now and some have figured it out. The best is when they walk by my office and should hear a sounds effects track, the reaction I get is priceless.

I find my volume creeping ever louder as people are becoming use to the weird music... haha

I now listen to Subsonic Radio when i'm at the gym. I don't get any unusual stares yet but I'm sure if It's A Small World comes on then I bet I would but if its just background music then most people probably wouldn't notice

I just keep the 'now playing' page in a small window and have fairly large headphones which don't leak any sound (I think/hope!). Helps avoid potential awkwardness.

I work at a hotel and have it playing when I'm doing laundry, love it and my co-workers faces when they walk in and it's playing. I have had a few guest walk by and look in and wonder what I'm listening to also....

I'm the caretaker for an older woman with dementia and she walks in a couple times a day and says oh you are listening to the pretty music again! Its actually great bc she doesn't remember hearing the same stuff over and over and always likes it. Except tracks with talking.

Absolutely! Especially certain sounds that are more far-reaching, like the scream after "Of course, there's always MY way..." from Haunted Mansion. I see heads pop up to look over the cubicle walls every time.
