Subsonic Radio

Is there a problem with the Iphone app today? I was listening to music earlier on my phone and then it stopped playing and started flashing that it was connecting. I figured it was a problem with my phone so I deleted the app and tried to re-install and when I did it says that the app is no longer available in the App store.

I am not having a problem with the iphone app at the moment.
The only channels that will play through the app are:
Requests
Scheduled
Background
Soarin
Star Tunnel
Living Seas

The other channels do not currently play through the app and you will get Reconnecting message.
Search for "subsonic radio" in the app store.

If you are still unable to find it, could you tell us if you are in the US or another country?

If there is an NA (US/CA/JP) and a ROW (rest of world) edition, then there might be a problem there.

Strange. It should still be available in all markets. Which streams was it having troubles with?

I was having a minor problem renewing my app store distribution account, and the app store was having issues in general the past few weeks, but all of those have been worked out by now. When you were having issues could have been exactly when my account was disabled for a day or two, removing my app from the store. This of course has nothing to do with the streams not playing, just with the app's availability in the app store.

Still having problems connecting to the other streams as noted above. Any progress?

The resolution to that issue will be an update to the app. The update is not available yet, but we are aware of the issue.

the resolution to that problem is get rid of iOS... but alas i am in the minority here on htat...

I'll be completely honest, the Iphone App really only works for me about half the time, it has some serious buffering issues.

It's not my connection, when I have issues with Subsonic I'll flip over to other streaming sites and not have any problems.

For me, this has been on going for a very long time, its frustrating to have this happen, close the app, and not be able to get back into the request stream because its full.

Yeah, I tried the 48k request stream yesterday and wasn't able to keep it going without buffering a lot! Whereas the 96k streams run fine for me 99% of the time. I wonder if it is something with the server that runs that stream??

Is anyone else having problems with the Iphone app currently? It keeps cutting out and then the timer is messed up and does not have the slide any longer. Sometimes when I try to engage the timer the music stops completely. It gives me the option of off or on only with a timer of 56 minutes? Any ideas what to do?
