If there are no new requests and you are at work on a saturday with no points left you will be very sad. :-( Unless you can call a friend or relative and get them to use theirs!!!

Hello first of all I would like to say am new at the forums and sub sonic in general. I am Kevin and am a blind user of the site. I would like to know what happens if it ever happens if the cue runs all of the way through and no one requests anything for a while will the automation just pick random things until someone requests something again? Just wondering. Love the site so far.
Thanks
Kevin Roberts

Welcome Kevin ~ I believe you are correct in thinking that the system will automatically fill in the queue if there are no requests. I don't know for sure though...

The system is set up so that if there are no requests queued up the computer will automatically queue up tracks. So long as the requests stream is working you will not hear silence. If anyone ever wants to hear a track and doesn't have the points you can always try stopping by the chat and seeing if anyone is around that can put in the request for you.

We are aware that a lot of the streams are down right now. Hopefully things should start coming back up tomorrow.

The positive side to the computer generated selections is that you get to listen to tracks that you probably never listen to if it was request only.

I love it when I see no requests, because the computer doesn't usually pick really long selections for some reason, then I know I can get in there and request all mine in a row, before someone puts in an hour long choice!
