Time of Day the Streams Fill up?

I'm noticing some morning all 50 out of 50 for the 96k requests fill up. Other days it isn't until the afternoon. Is there a theme or pattern I should be aware of? Or should I just make it to work by 7am eastern time in order to "claim my seat for the parade"???
Just wondering - trying to avoid current research project work...

Being on the west coast makes it hard to grab a spot on the 96K request line. So I slum it in48K until around lunch time when magically spots open up on the 96K line.

I had a terrible time getting streams in England this past summer - no, not usage. Firewalls at the university. But only on the hardline. WiFi was a different source, but with 200+ people using the wifi system, getting a clean, continued stream was impossible. Nice to be back in the States with an office with a fast connection - but it gets throttled at night when the offices shut down...

We are working to add another 96K Request relay. Hopefully we will have it up before the end of the month.

But 51 is an odd number! Harder to calculate percentages! Lets go to 100, and then the math gets REAL easy...Ha ha ha...

P.S. Don't tell anyone but sometimes, in the late afternoon hours, I switch from subsonic to NPR...just long enough to hear the news and once a week listen to This American Life...

Another relay would add more than 1 slot for streaming. I'm kind of guessing it will take it to around 75-100 96k slots.

More slots in the 96 request line = Happy y2kxmaskids.

So no one has gone to the dark side and requested a song that is loathed by folks in order to get them to abandon their spot on the 96K stream?
Not saying you should, but ya know, it's an option...

all 100 spots for the request line were filled up this morning so I'm now quite happily on the Soarin' channel. Some seriously fantastic music here. Thanks for giving us so many choices!

The only problem being then you have to sit through something that is quite probably terrible (the Sci-Fi dining loop comes to mind - but there are people out there who love it) or hopefully something you love but lots of other folks hate (the Pinocchio Haus loops are awesome!)
One man's trash/treasure and all that.
