I also want to chime in about how wonderful the Sub app is. I have it on my Ipad and listen every morning while I get the kids ready for school. Thanks Bleulama and anyone else involved.
Yeah, I was just going to say that I stream sub on the 48k (and sometimes 96k) streams about an hour or so every weekday in the car...and I also use my phone a lot for searches and other web-based activities (looking up whether the latest Justin Bieber song is available in sheet music ~ crossing fingers that it isn't ~ looking appropriately sad when I tell my student "sorry...no") and this month's bill indicates I'm just under 999mb with 6 days left in the billing period. I would think you are fine with your short jaunts in the car.
But I also thought the math was pretty cool dstrawn

96000 bits/8 = 12000 bytes/sec.
12000 bytes / 1028 bytes in a kilobyte= 11.67kb
11.67*60 = 700.2kb/min
700.2 kb/min * 60 = 42012 kb/hr
42012 kb/hr / 1028 kb in a megabyte = 40.86 mb/hr
I love the math and seeing all the numbers worked out. I've done it before
I honestly have about a 45 minute car ride home and listen to sub 48k every day. In addition to that I am always on my phone either posting on here, looking things up, on facebook, or taking care of random business. I use close to 3 GB of data each month
Thankfully I have a grandfathered in "unlimited" data plan that throttles my transfer rates down after 3 GB of data is used.

The only stream that I see on TuneIn Radio is the Scheduled Stream. Is the Request Stream available somewhere I can get to it? I'm using an Android phone BTW.

I love my iPhone APP!
It's amazing, and it is somewhat accessable for a blind person to use it!
