Maximum points per day?

Hey, I was was wondering, I was posting quite a bit yesterday. I had been away from the forums for a while and I had a lot to catch up with. I found out that after a while I wasn't getting any more points for the posts that I was making.

Is there a limit to the points that you can earn per day for posting in the forums? And if so what is it? Or was this just a glitch that some posts didn't give points?

I've tried and I haven't been able to use then about 7K to maybe 10K (Sunday) in a day.

This has been discussed in other topics, but not areas you post to accrue points. Off Topic, Games, Club 33, and some other areas do NOT accrue points. Most areas related to Disney and the parks do.

Beforehand all the categories/topics were able to let you gain points. However, to prevent people from abusing the system and only posting to get more points (since a lot of people would play the games nonstop back then), they changed it up so that Off Topic, Games, Club 33, News (I think) and most non-Disney related topics won't get points.

As said there are now certain areas that accrue points. As for the point system in general, there are talks about phasing it out and instituting other things.

As said there are now certain areas that accrue points. As for the point system in general, there are talks about phasing it out and instituting other things.

Hmm.. that would be interesting. Personally I like the whole points idea. I am not sure what other way they could to it that would be fair, but we will just have to wait and see.
