I see this in the search, but can someone tell me if this is the instrumental piano music that plays to/from the parks?

It is something similar but different. The magical express bus music loop would be that background music you hear on the Magical Express when the videos are not playing. The music that you hear on the Disney Transport buses when going to/from the parks or to/from your resort are different. Those are part of the Magic in Motion system that Disney has. That music loop will actually be different depending on which park or which resort you are heading towards.

I'm looking for the magic express music they play when travelling to/from parks -- I specifically remember at night -- it was peaceful piano music. I'm pretty sure I heard it going to/from multiple resorts so I'm thinking it's not resort specific. Do you know if that's available anywhere? Thanks for the help!

Sounds more like you are referring to the background music on the Disney Transport buses. That music is not available at all on here... and I don't believe it is available anywhere else. What color are the buses that you are hearing this music on? If they are white those are the Disney Transport buses. If they are blue then they are Disney's Magical Express buses which are run by Mears.
As I tried to explain earlier, the Disney Transport buses that take you to/from the parks to the resorts play music so long as they had the Magic in Motion system installed (only buses lacking it are the 2010 and very old RTS's that should have been retired by now). The music that is played on the bus will be different for each of the theme parks that the bus is heading to. The music is also different for each of the resorts that the buses go to. Sometimes you might not notice it, but if you listen closely you can hear the music change as it goes from resort to resort. You are correct about peaceful piano music. It has been noted that the music is more uplifting and upbeat as you are energetic to head towards the park. On the return trip the music is peaceful and mellow to help you unwind and relax after running around the parks.
Hope this helps you out

If you hadn't told me there was music on these buses I would swear that the buses are silent since the only thing I am thinking of is "Hurry up I, this lady is jabbing me with her bag".
Do they have any audio on the boat that departs the Beach Club resort to DHS?

If it's on property, there's music.

That is incorrect Jacca. The friendships and water taxis for the MK resort area do not have any music on them. The only means of entertainment on the friendships is if the CM starts talking to the guests.

Len is absolutely correct. The friendship boats and water taxis do not play any music. My guess is that they are open to the outdoors, so there's really no point because you wouldn't be able to hear it unless it was played really loud. As for the buses, when you are headed to a park they play upbeat music that reflects the attractions of whatever park you are going to, and when you are heading "home" from a park, they play whatever music is associated with the resort you are going to. So Jacca, you should stay at Old Key West sometime... you'll get to hear a lot of Jimmy Buffet music on your way home from the parks.

It's kind of like how some of the parks will have AM and PM loops for their point of entry (usually main street). Neat thing to learn.

Jimmy Buffett??? Do they supply the RUM or do I have to bring my own? I'll bring my own anyway!

Now if only they had a course in college on Disney World... that would be an easy A for me. In all seriousness I am a VERY observant person and will notice the nitty gritty details on everything.
M-dude you are spot on with your facts. That is exactly what I was getting at earlier with the changing mood of the music.

Thanks, Len. I knew that's what you meant, so I was just helping with some additional details.

Yeah! Like on the Friendship Boats they could play the Undersea loops! That would be cool.
