Great story line....IT"S STILL A CARNIVAL RIDE!! It's not worthy of Disney.

This is VERY true!!! In DCA, there is a ride called Mulholland Madness (will be re-themed soon) that is basically the same thing as Primeval Whirl, except it doesn't spin you and the seating is different...but the same thing happens.
...and yes, good boy Jacca...
I've been on Mulholland Madness ~ that thing is wicked on your back! But I have a seat all to myself since Mom will never ever go on this again...she went with me the first time we went to DCA and about killed me after we got off! I didn't know what it was like!!

And yes, I agree, Jacca deserves a biscuit!!!!

Good one BLT!!

Thanks Jacca! I wondered as I was typing it but decided to throw caution to the wind. You can be a good boy

Sadly, I think my last ride on MM was a couple of years ago...I have the same feelings about the back/neck thing. :(

I think Jacca deserves a lemon bar (if he likes them... ;) )

BLT, I love it!!! Primeval Hurl!!!

I don't know, something tells me he likes them! I wouldn't wish them on anyone though, they just call out to be eaten without any regard to the caloric consequences. After the three too many last night I only had one tonight and that was still too many. :( Maybe I need to cut them smaller?!

This is so true, but I still had a lot of fun on the ride...even though the next day I had a huge bruise on my arm and on my leg from being slammed around in the ride vehicle...I guess I'm a glutton for punishment because I would ride it again...it's a fun little ride!

The only problem I have with this ride is:

A: The line seems to be the slowest in the AK-It drags horribly.
B: The other PW has never been working. Do they choose not to use it or is it in need of maintenance. The line (see A)would be much faster if they chose to use it.

The area music is the only thing up to Disney standards! IMHO

From the one and only time I rode it, all I can remember is spinning and the sound of a pin-ball ding when you dropped one level and then faster spinning, and then another ding, and then faster spinning. When we got off I truly felt like a human pin-ball. I don't remember music, just a ringing in my head -- no wait, that was after the ride. :?
My DD wants to ride it this next time since she's tall enough now. I'll hang back and listen for the music.

"Primeval Hurl" - I like that!

The only time I ever rode Primeval Whirl was one morning I after I drank a lot of coffee on an empty stomach. I ended up with a sore neck and a sick stomach for the rest of the day. I doubt I will ever ride it again, but I enjoy watching other people ride it.

I love the ride (and mulholand) but yeah if you're by yourself you get flung around like crazy on the ride.

I don't think I would ride Primeval Whirl if it was in Coney Island! This has to be the bottom of the barrel for Disney! It was conceived by no imagination imagineers. Walt built Disney because of his disdain for carnival rides, then Disney Corp. turns around and builds a bad carnival ride? I hope they have Walt rapped in some good copper wire so he generate plenty of electricity while he's spinning in his grave over this one!!
