How are y'all getting it to continue playing in the background? The music fades away if I navigate away from the page. It will keep going if I simply turn the screen off...
I like the web part, since it will free up a page on my safari browser

Yeah, I did notice that. If they're able to fix up that part so that it can play in the background, that'd be good. At least I can lock the iPod and listen to the music without having to use the sleep timer.

You need to have iOS 4.0 or later to use the background streaming feature. If you have that, once the music starts you are good to go.

I'm pretty sure background streaming requires one of the newer phones that have the horsepower to multitask (iPhone4 or iPhone3GS).

Thank you Bleu! The app works so well, better than any other internet radio program I have used, and I love the simplicity of it. Now I just need to upgrade my phone so it can run in the background. The battery life is getting shorter by the day anyway, so this just might be the nudge I need to do it.

Waaaaaaaa....!!!! It won't work on my phone! I have the first generation iphone and tried to download the app Saturday. Didn't work!

But, at least it works on Mouseoholic's phone. She has a 3G.

Time to get a new iPhone! I am shocked to hear that there are still people out there with the original iPhone. I thought for sure almost all of those people upgraded to something newer by now. Mouseoholic still won't get the best benefit of the app as she can't have the background streaming.

You know, when the app failed, Mouseoholic actually told me "your phone is too old, you need to upgrade."
But then, of course, she said that she gets the new phone and I get her 3G.
So I just gave her "the look" and that's where the discussion ended....
