I also use Xiaalive and love it. I changed the icon on my home screen to Mickey Donald and Goofy and called it "subsonic" instead of Xiaa. :mickey:

I have XiiaLive as well, but mine keeps losing connection and cuts out from time to time...kinda annoying

Yes, Winamp has a good app also thats free. I used it for a while but I find Xiaa to be slightly more stable.

As far as an actual Android App, if anybody knows how to make one and wants to for free, then let's talk. I was approached about the iPhone app (which is great) by a listener who was willing to do it because he appreciated the site. People ask me all the time if there's going to be an Android application and simply we don't have the resources to make one. As well as SR has zero income I'm not going to pay someone to make it.

I'm learning about the app making process right now. If I am able to do it a free subsonic app will be my first one.

I was curious of how you were learning this. Is there a "Dummys" book for this?

I'm doing research on line. I really don't want to have to buy a book. But yes there is an "Android Application Development For Dummies"
