Why do people request Christmas music in April??? Sorry, but that just makes me turn off the station.

It's America... Freedom of speech, just like your post and your opinion on Christmas music in April. But, you also have to respect the requests of other users on this site. I thought the same thing when I saw it in the queue, but I have REALLY enjoyed it this morning. Great background music for working. Everyone gets a choice and this person chose Christmas. No big deal.

Shouldn't we all have Christmas in our hearts year-round? I think one of the Ghosts told Scrooge that.

Great quote!! We really should, doesn't mean we should listen to Christmas music all the time!

Isn't it nice that Subsonic provides more than one station option for us so that when the music isn't to our taste we can choose another option!
I don't think that people should feel strange for requesting any track that is available. We all have our own reasons for choosing the tracks we choose.
Enjoy your selections everyone! :mickey:

I agree. It doesn't matter. I like listening to the music because it's background music.

...and what's the beef with Christmas anyway? No one's complaining that Halloween music is being played too...

It's all about opinion. I play what I like to listen to, and I expect others will too. If I don't like it I can change it, no problem.

I rather listen to Christmas music over the resort TV infommercials any time! It's just a matter of taste and personal opinion.

Why do people request Soarin' tracks when there is a Soarin' stream? Because they like them. In the words of wisdom from Mr. Jackie Moon... "Everybody love Everybody!"

Well, it feels like December here today. So Christmas music might be appropriate today.

We don't have your cold front yet... not until later tonight I believe. It's sunny and mid-80's today. 8-)

Show off. :P

I'm heading to the ballgame tonight. Hopefully the Rays think it's too cold. Especially since the Sox haven't been hitting.

It's no Christmas in July but people request the songs because they like them.

I don't mind hearing Holiday music all year. LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW!
