Some people pick a track because they want or want everyone else to hear chatter (hehehe)...

Some people pick a track because they've never heard it before...
Some people pick a track because it brings them back to a fond memory...
All people pick the tracks that they chose simply because they can!
All people can chose to listen to something else if they don't care for it...

This thread does bring up an interesting thought...wouldn't it be nice to have a place/thread to post what you requested to listen to and why...all the stories of memories or just plain mischief (or should I say mayhem in some cases) would be wonderful reading material.

Hey what do you mean, "Just hear Chatter"? I think I'm being single out!! Oh my poor feelings!

Now I'm going to a dark corner to lick my wounds and wipe my eyes! My poor little feelings. Oh the shame "sniff", Oh the agony "sniff", Oh the embarrassment "sniff"! Woe "cry"Image is me!! Image Image Image
Hey, I'd rather hear chatter than EE anyday!!!!!

Whether its Christmas music or something else, I simply turn it off/down if its a song I don't like. I feel the same way about the vacation planner video tracks. I just don't get it. However, I respect that it must be something special to the person who requested it. Just not my cup of tea.

I agree, keep Christmas music during the Christmas season.

That irritates me too, but thankfully I can just change the station...

My preference is also for Chrsitmas music being saved for the holiday season. That being said, sometimes it can just be sounds from one of the Parks and it brings special memories with it, which are fun any time of year, so, unless it's a song I actually don't care for, I stick around, with the Background Stream always available.
