Theme park idea or ride plans that never made it? I know there are "how it's done" books about imagineering and also Leaonard Maltin did a book called "the Disney that never was" about Disney films that didn't get made. I wonder though, if there's an equivalent book about rides or attractions (like WESTCOT for example) that didn't get made. If not, someone should write one. What would you put in that book if there were such a thing?

I have a couple of books that deal with the building of DL and WDW. They both have rides never built in them. Unfortunately they have not made out of boxes yet. As soon as I run into them I will tell their tittles.

The Disney That Never Was isn't by Leonard Maltin but by Charles Soloman.

Wasn't the book "The Disney Never Was" actually about the animated movies that were never made? I don't think there has been a single book dedicated solely to the theme-park rides never made (although the idea is long past due). Like Jacca5660 said, there's bits and pieces scattered through different books.

The current D23 calendar you get for joining/renewing has artwork from different Disney rides & movies not made.

Yes, mindflipper. It was about five animated movies that weren't made, I believe.
