I am not the most computer savy but I can click on Icons with the best of them. Can someno tell me how to best utilize this site? I read in the FAQ you have to make posts and get points. Then request songs. Im not sure about requesting songs. Right now I got music playing but I didnt request anything. Do I get to liten to what ever is playing at the moment?
Sorry to sound so dumb.
Barb
PS I have been to Disneyland many times and get to go one day in a couple weeks, Ive been to Disneyworld 4 times now.

welcome to the forums.
here's how the site/station works, as best as I can explain it...
you can listen for as long as you like to what's playing at any point in time. as far as requests, request as many tracks as you can with what points you have. Points that you spend will regenerate (regen) in 24 hours. to get more points, you have to participate in the forums (post).
please see
here and
here. hope it helps understand things better...

Subsonic won't tell us what all the levels are. Hell, he won't even tell us Mods..
so far, as it breaks down from what we've seen:
Newbie
In the parking lot
a-ticket
b-ticket
c-ticket
d-ticket
e-ticket
Junior Imagineer

I aspire t be an imagineer. In real life too. Too bad I crunch numbers instead of enginering for a living.

"js3901" - so what's the cut off between a d-ticket and an e-ticket and finally, the Junior Imagineer? Do you know?

Thanks for the info, js3901. Wow, what a big jump between e-ticket and Junior Imagineer. Gotta make you proud when you reach the status symbol of Junior Imagineer!

It sounds like you're not familiar with streaming radio. Basically, it's just like regular radio. You connect (tune into) as station and listen to what's playing. All the people connected at listening to the same thing you are. When you request something it'll be added to the queue. Everybody will listen to what you requested. You can see what songs are playing and coming up on the "Now Playing" page.

Thanks Subsonic.....
Since I'm at the FAR end of the parking lot ... actually still sneeking through the fence to get into the park, your explanation was like talking to Walt himself... Thanks for making the response clear to understand... And to all you e-tickets holders... get to work.. we need more imagineers...

to request music you goto Playlist, then type in the search for what ever you want to hear, something like Temple, for Indy Jones The "Temple of the Forbidden eye. As you search that you can see what ever it gives you. You also can do something like Tomorrowland Area, which will give you a bunch of area music from Tomorrowland. I hope that helps
Oh and the #'s mean how much they cost, depending on how many points. Red means you can't request because someone already requested it or just been played and waiting for 24 hours to be played again. The light grey means you do not have enough points.

When you select something how do you know what time it will play?

look in the "Now Playing" page. It will tell you the next few songs that will be played.

to I just wait untill it plays. Sometimes I wait for an hour or so untill my song appears, then again you might wait for 5 mins at least.
The longest I waited was for 2 hours.
