Jumping to specific thread pages

Hello site admins/tech gurus:
I'm curious, is there a way when a thread has say 130 pages that I can jump to say page 80 without scrolling through 75 pages? If there isn't currently, if that a feature that could be added? I'm used to other forums have "Jump to page:" feature. Here however it seems you get 4 pages on either extreme then are forced to flip through page by page.
Thank you!

I just change the number at the very end of the link. It may be a little longer or it may not but it's what I've done.
Take this for example:
search.php?search_id=1020630459&start=350
Just erase that and change the number until you hit the very end or to where you hit the page you want.

Elizabethswann is correct about this. The number that she is referring to is the post number for the thread. That will take you to page 24-25. I believe the pages go by 15 or 16 so just take the page number that you want, times it by 15 or 16 and you are where you need to be. Hope that helps you out.

Interesting, thanks! Though I'd still love to see a jump to page feature

We'll have to see what the creators of the forum can do. For now, there's that!

Exactly. It works and that is all that counts! Rdeacon has been talking about software upgrades for the forums, so we will see what happens. That would be a nice feature along with the report post option to alert mods/admins of spam, inappropriate posts, or something that can be taken as offensive.

Hey, let's not rush the poor guy! He's got his day job, the holidays - and here's everyone get bubbly with excitement?! I would say dial it down and wait until some time into the new year and let the guy enjoy the holidays without worrying about having to do forum software upgrades as well.
Take your time, rdeacon. Holidays and family first.

There is a reason why he is called "Sub's Monkey". He had to earn that title

In all seriousness, it is amazing to see how much work and time the admins put into this site and they don't ask for anything in return. Maybe, just maybe, we'll let Rich slide this time

Cheekly little devil, aren't you?

Remember, moderator Len, they're your superiors.

Who decides what is offensive?
Who decides what is inappropriate?
How are these things going to be judged? Right now you can't write g** (G*A*Y) in a post. It's not just an orientation!

Actually, the current forum can do that. The other day I had the word d-a-m-n in a post, and it was switched to d-a-r-n. But when I went back to edit it out, the word appeared in the edit box as d-a-m-n.
