Why are some songs greyed out??

Ok, I have enough points to request a song, but it's greyed out. Will I ever be able to request that song?? Has it just played, and now it has to wait a certain amount of time before it can be requested again??

I know that when you don't have enough points it's greyed out. But when you know you have enough points and it's still greyed out, I believe it's b/c the song has been requested already.

I'm not totally sure though.

That's strange, I believe it's coded so it's grayed out when you don't have enough points. Can you post a screenshot of your points and the song cost?

Also, I added a request system faq last night that might explain some things

I hope it explains it. People would constantly ask me how to get more points. I think people thought that the points were permanantly used.

Wouldn't that suck?! To listen to my bgm tracks I'd have to post even more than I do now...

that's a very confident sounding explanation of why a track would be greyed out, especially coming from the site's owner/creator/webmaster...

it has been my experience that if you do not have enough points to request a certain track, it is greyed out. and, if a track has been requested in the last 24 hours, and you do have enough points to request it, it is shaded in red.

I think js3901 is right, gray for not enough points, red for already requested...

Ahh, ok, if its red, its already been requested... (the button is greyed out, but the title of the song is Red...)

OK, how long after a song plays, does it take to reset, so it can be requested by someone else??

I got the whole point thing, just wondered about songs that I can't request because they are Red... lol

to get more points, you have (ie - posting). for each post you submit, you get 10 points. (ie - you've posted 3 times now, you sould have 30 more points than when you started).

Wow wish you got like 60 points a day or so... do they have an upwords cap on how many points you can get?
