Can someone help me? I want to add a pix under my user name, but computer savvy I'm not!

It's pretty easy.

Just go to a third-party upload site, like Photobucket, Imageshack or TinyPic. Upload your image there, and then copy the link that says "Direct Link" or something similar. Go to your Profile, scroll all the way to the bottom, then paste the link into the appropriate box.

Easy as pie!
