Grab Suggestion

Maybe we could mock up a forum thread for sounds/music we are looking for. That way when one of us hit's the park they can expand the database of content.

while a great suggestion, it'll be kind of hard to implement. Creating the forum/thread(s) are the easy part, but finding the tracks that we need is the hard part. There's far too much out there (what with 10 parks around the world, and new stuff being added all the time) to compile any sort of complete or accurate listing.

I was thinking much smaller in scope. For example I am searching for a song in Tomorrowland in WDW MK. Since I live in Missouri it is not easy to return for a quickie and get my music fix. So I was thinking if someone who could grab the audio while they were there, then upload it could help not only me but help us all...
Maybe the with all of us doing this it could get out of hand?
My daughter wants the Ariel logo here->

well, that's what we appreciate - people who can get the audio (whether off the web or via recording device) and upload it to us. it's just the list of things we need that's the tough part. We do have a thread open in the "Requests" forum if you can't find what you're looking for.

Sorting through the music and the uploads is very tedious. And as, js3901 said, we have a requests section but, golly, SR is getting so large these days it's hard to keep track of stuff.

How large is the backlog of music not in use now? From what I've read here it seems a pretty big task. Looks like you guys could spend all your time just adding music to the site. How many available tracks are we up to anyway?

Oh man, I don't know. We have a lot of tracks to sort through still. Yep, it's a matter of time.
Also, to find out how many tracks are available it's at the bottom of the requests page: 1 thru 25 of

How many people do the sorting of music? You could always recruit a few trustworthy volunteers to do it for you, at least an initial sort with them then sending you a final list for confirmation? T'would be a lot quicker and easier that way.

That's what I do (outside of the forums, that is). I get the files, figure out where they go, rename them appropriately, and sort them into folders.
