Search request by points?

I apologize if this is the wrong place to put this, or if it has been covered elsewhere, but I have not been able to find how to do it yet.

When you are in the list to request songs, I know you can type in keywords, or just search the pages, but I what I was hoping to do was to be able to search by how many points the songs cost. That way, when we only have a few points left, like I only have 31 right now I think, we can see what songs we can "afford" until the points reset.

I hope that question made sense. If there is anyways to do it, or impliment it, I think that would be great!! :)

That's a good question. I feel like I was able to figure out how to sort by duration somehow (which essentially translates into point value) when I was trying to find the longest and shortest tracks; but I can't recall how (or if I ever really did).

EDIT: As a quick solution that may be an alternative to what you seek you can just leave the search box blank and hit "enter." You'll get the complete track list in alphabetical order and you can list 100 songs per page. W/ 3200+ songs you'll have 33 pages to go through, but if you only have 31 points you'll see ones you can request as neon green with the "request NOW" message. This won't help you much to figure out song lengths w/o reading them all individually, but at least you'll be able to breeze through the pages as you probably won't see too many greens. The Pal Mickey section will give you a ton of hits though I reckon -

Side Note: Anyone else remember when requests weren't really always there and Pal Mickey used to be a huge auto-filler between tracks?

That is true. I can do it that way. I may give it a shot.. Of course after this post I am down to 11 points, but I will file that away for later. Thanks. :)

Subsonic or rdeacon would be better to answer this, as far as how difficult it would be to implement this. I'm not sure which way would be best to put this into place, but my guess would be some kind of drop-down with a point range that you could search by.

but, as Mr. Toad said, the easiest way to search is by what is green. anything that it gray means you don't have enough points for it. and red means it's recently been played, so even if you have the points, you can't request it until it becomes available again

Sorting has been in my to-do list for a while. With having a son, my laptop barely ever comes out of it's bag. :( This has been requested several times and I'll move it higher on my priority list. :)

The baby comes first before us. We're not going anywhere, don't worry!
