I hate it when I'm the only one requesting, like late on a Friday night and have to keep running in the house because of the 30 minute restriction. That's also when I try to request the longest tracks I can find.

I hear you. That happened to me the other day.

I also like to snipe the randomizer. My memory just isn't good enough for appointment listening during the day.

I hate it when I can't get on because the site isn't accepting any more connections. That happened to me just now.

Btw, what's "the 30 min. restriction?"

Not only that, doesn't it always seem like when you are the only one requesting, that the tracks that pop up in between your requests is some of the worst stuff out there? Which you then have to sit through until your next track can play because if you get up and leave you know you'll screw it up and miss it? It's like they know how pitiful you are on Friday night at 2am sitting there as the only one and the Disney Track Gods are laughing at you.

Thanks for the link. It's a very reasonable limitation in the interest of everyone on Subsonic and also good to know if you're someone (like me) who likes to request individual longer tracks, rather than many short ones.

My DW and I will be sitting in the garage or on the patio having an adult beverage on a Fri. or Sat. and will be listening to Sub. You can only get 30 minutes or one long play at a time and if you're not on top of the music you have to suffer through random play. You're right it's the bad of the bad that is being "RANDOMLY" being picked. It seems like random play picks the stuff that never gets played.

so I watch the time and I forget and I miss one song
